Raising RM30,000 for Jden

IQ-70Special Needs

Target amount

RM 30,000

Let this smiling child continue to be gently supported

At our centre, there is an 8-year-old boy named Jden who is always smiling. His smile is quiet, yet deeply genuine.

Jden suffered a traumatic brain injury shortly after birth, causing irreversible damage.

Because of this, he lost many abilities that most children are naturally born with. He cannot turn over, sit, or stand.

He cannot see the world, and he is completely dependent on others for daily care. For most children, growing up happens naturally.

For Jden, every small step forward requires immense effort. Jden comes from a single-parent family and joined the IQ70+ family in March 2020. Over the years, he has been on long-term medication and continues to receive physiotherapy and speech therapy.

These therapies help to reduce muscle atrophy, ease spasms, and maintain his body functions. Therapy also helps him slowly learn how to chew and eat, gradually relaxing his stiff muscles, and helping his body maintain balance little by little.

This journey is slow, but it has never stopped. Recently, therapists discovered that Jden’s hips have begun to shift, and the difference in his leg length is becoming more noticeable.

If not corrected in time, it may affect his skeletal development and could lead to more severe deformities and pain in the future.

Doctors have recommended a customised corrective wheelchair to properly support his body structure, stabilise bone development, and slow further deterioration. This is not just a wheelchair.

It is the key to helping him sit comfortably and live with greater ease. We are seeking to raise 【RM30,000】to fund this customised wheelchair and his ongoing therapy.

For our centre, this is a significant financial burden. Jden may not be able to run or express himself clearly, but he always responds to the world with a smile. We sincerely invite the public to extend a helping hand, so that this smiling child an continue to be gently supported.

Every contribution helps lighten his burden and gives him a little more strength to carry on.
